How do I restring the cord on my rod?
1. Lift the traverse rod out of its brackets and place the rod on a table face down.Remove the old traverse rod.
2. Starting with cord knotted at master slide "A", thread the cord through pulleys at the right end of rod as illustrated above. Thread cord through the bridge of master slide "B", between the pulleys at left side, through the tension pulley yoke, and then around the outside pulley to the starting point where a knot should be tied. Use lacing hook enclosed to help pull cord through pulley wheels and masters.
3. Replace the traverse rod in its brackets. Draw master "A" (which becomes right hand master when rod is placed on the wall) to the right as far as it will go. Hold cords taut and move master slide "B" as far left as it will go. Then fasten cord under locking tongue on master "B" as dotted lines indicate in above diagram.
4. To adjust length of the cord, pull out one of the knots behind the left hand master slide, take up the cord slack as necessary, and tie a new knot to hold the cord securely at the master slide. Cut off the extra cord.
